Program at Augustus f. hawkins!The African American Academy at Agustus F. Hawkins High School is a new school elective provided by The TYME Foundation in partnership with the school. The Academy's curriculum will provide African American students the opportunity to express themselves in ways they feel they can only do in a safe space through a cultural pedagogical perspective.

Academy LifeStudents learn on their terms which will allow for them to explore their imaginations while learning the legacy of African American Men and Woman throughout history in the United States.

The Big 5 InitiativeStudents will have the opportunity to learn about technology and how to harness that technology to market themselves to potential colleges and job opportunities. Focusing mainly on 5 areas of professionalism in the modern age.
